Nice Work!

You did a great job with this song, lyrics are solid, and the instruments back up the voice so well accompanied by strong verse structures. I am starting to step into the field of writing lyrics for my music and recording them. so it is real nice to hear songs like this from other artists to help inspire me.

neat concepts

getting a little a-d-d with them. to much back and forth with them and the ending should have came in much earlier to lead to a more powerful song. sounds work with each other but verse structure and variation is needed to make a song stand out.

Hit me up if you ever need fl studio help. been using it for 4 years.

Its off to a good start

once you clearer up a little of the distortion and sound levels it can sound nasty. the main synth sounds awesome and the drums are falling into a good beat. they need light steady taps or bass line to smooth them out and sound more agressive.

Keep it up!

BlackVen0m responds:

Thanks for the advice. I'll see what I can do with the drum loop I made and ad some more snare and hat hits in there.

Hey I can guide ...

been using fl studio for over 3 years now and know the ins and out of the program.

This song could go somewhere if you had control of your fx. and I think a note or 2 are off in the key signature that your writing your song in. the ending you need to tame the high soundz.

if you have aim hit me up sometime = kaielsz

I am also a teacher and have taught others how to use flstudio.
see ya around!

Nice Job!

The intro build was perfect, and the rest of the song sounds great!

Keep it up!

MrAw3s0me responds:

thx alot :DD packing me up !

Neat song

mastering is needed and then you have a good song here. the blippy arpegiated sound needs to be turned down a little after a while. the bass a little strnger. the chords should sound a little stronger. just get the equo out and fix it up.

Zakueast responds:

Well it is only a sample, but thanks for the review! I understand some of the technical things need to be tuned right, but this was a fairly quick thing. In truth, most all of my full length techno songs are 7 minutes or longer. So I would take into consideration of all the crescendos and decrescendos, dynamic changes, and other various things. Oh as for the bass, I'm still tinkering around with my software to find the kind of bass I really want. I know the bass I used for the sample is weak, but there wasn't much I felt like doing for that at the time I did this.

Nice work!

nice to hear some live recordings on NG.

just starting to learn how to play live with my bass now. Its so hard to play with other people.

good work!

slackmatic responds:

Thanks for the review. Playing live with people deffinetly takes some getting used to . Once you get in a groove with your band though, well nothing beats it in my opinion. Thanks for the review.

Not hip hop...

but that is fine,
neat concepts you had in the song with more mastering in sound and learning how to use some of the powerful vsts you chose could make this song epic and cool.

enjoy!

Bump-Da-Beet responds:

thx

with more mastering

this would sound awesome.

reminds me a little of rattatat and the piano melody reminds of another song i've heard.

neat concepts in your song with better verse arrangement this could be a powerful and great song.

kevs91 responds:

Haha, it really is becoming more and more obvious that sooner or later someone/something is going to need to tie me down and teach me how to mix properly. I work and work at it...fresh ears and fresh ideas would be welcome after taking a song from the writing to the recording phase alone.

Thanks for the review!

take it one more step

the song scared me...
i was waiting for it to get haunting. I think you could have done better with a beat and doing more work with vocals and structure.

sorry.

bob0712 responds:

I respect your honesty Psy, no need to say sorry bruv.

Peace
