Your on to something ...

I thought your mix was fun and fresh to hear. I agree with all three of the previous reviews. extend, remove squeaky thing, have a finale!

Nice work!

Its good to listen to real instruments. And this track will have everyone buying your albums.

Nice work!

besides mastering like you said this piece is well done.

I like your use of filters and gating not many of the ppl here are experienced enough to use synths like piozone to there fullest capabilities.

If you ever want to collab or anything let me know. I am good at mastering and getting sounds to work with each other.

nice loop

the scratch is fine if you choose to do more with it. and the notes to bass should go into an arpegiation ounce the drums start hitting.

Yeah you can launch this!

Play with envelopes or actually play with tempo and this track can really be a thrill.
trick though is that you are probably at a writers block stage in this track where you don't know how to progress this melody into something phenomenal.

I was disapointed

This was just an mp3 overlap of the Midi.
Sorry to hurt you here. But I've been working on remixing this song for a year now and writing new verses and the such.

I would be surprised if the OC accepted this if you submitted this song.
I gave a five since you did half the work.

Hey there!

the drums need a lot of work in sound department and fluency. you have the ideas just need to be a little more organized. for starters turn the track up in your room or on your headphones. does the hats or snare make you close your eyes reflexively or want to turn the volume of the song down?

the next thing you need to think about is where are those drums going? you have builds and halts and restarts but the synth and voice dont pay attention to these details. meaning that your drums aren't keeping a beat or the synth isn't following the beat.

if you have more questions just ask.

Good composing!

Hey recieved your email!
I figured I should take a listen to your work before I make some pointers for Fl use.
the mix is awesome. some slight mods i would do. at times your drums cymbals are just a lil to harsh to enjoy. to clean this up one method is to have a delay on them instead of hitting them so often. the first piano introduced the higher octave one could be a lil less muffled by using a filter or an equo. your kick probably when played at a louder volume gets distorted you can fix that by bringing the volume down a little and a filter. the buzz bass good be reduced in volume a little to better hear your drums. the main synth around 2:20 could have a lil more reverb and hit a lil softer. the flanger on the drums during this time is really cool by the way. the piano at the end is to quiet at the end and the main synth should interlude to becoming a background sound when it comes in.

If you want to work together sometime let me know.
I lack builds and super interesting melodies and you seem to have that quality in your music.

hey! glad to hear you get back to me...yeah thanks for the pointers I really did very little mastering and equalizing because frankly I don't really know how to...I've only figured out very little to FL so far and I'm still working on it, but thanks for the pointers...if you could just point me to where or how I could do that would be much appreciated. And you a collab would be awesome just hit me up with some ideas you have or somewhere you would like to go with a song and I'll be sure to work on something...I've been going through quite a lazy period so a reason to make a kick ass song would be fantastic...anyway thanks for the review look forward to hearing from ya!

cool stuff

I dig this.
i like your verses
a little less repition would have been nice and the clap a lil lower in volume so you could seep into the mix.

peace Ill chill with you man!

control your ideas

and build with mp3's that will sound more full.
your beat is good
your ideas are there
your sounds dont work with eachother
try another remix buddy I think you will strike more gold next revission.
have fun and let me know if you upload a new mix of this.
