Good composing!

Hey recieved your email!
I figured I should take a listen to your work before I make some pointers for Fl use.
the mix is awesome. some slight mods i would do. at times your drums cymbals are just a lil to harsh to enjoy. to clean this up one method is to have a delay on them instead of hitting them so often. the first piano introduced the higher octave one could be a lil less muffled by using a filter or an equo. your kick probably when played at a louder volume gets distorted you can fix that by bringing the volume down a little and a filter. the buzz bass good be reduced in volume a little to better hear your drums. the main synth around 2:20 could have a lil more reverb and hit a lil softer. the flanger on the drums during this time is really cool by the way. the piano at the end is to quiet at the end and the main synth should interlude to becoming a background sound when it comes in.

If you want to work together sometime let me know.
I lack builds and super interesting melodies and you seem to have that quality in your music.

hey! glad to hear you get back to me...yeah thanks for the pointers I really did very little mastering and equalizing because frankly I don't really know how to...I've only figured out very little to FL so far and I'm still working on it, but thanks for the pointers...if you could just point me to where or how I could do that would be much appreciated. And you a collab would be awesome just hit me up with some ideas you have or somewhere you would like to go with a song and I'll be sure to work on something...I've been going through quite a lazy period so a reason to make a kick ass song would be fantastic...anyway thanks for the review look forward to hearing from ya!

Don't rush music!

You have great ideas in the track. don't rush. instead figure out how to transition from your begining to your next verse. 40 minutes is a very short amount of time to work on a song. just become immersed in your project and see where you can go. I see potential here if you can get in the groove to expand.

pyrobunny9 responds:

I know what you mean, but I try not to make my projects very long because I'm only using FL demo. Besides, I didn't think that the transition was THAT bad.

Awsome IDM!

I like your use of sounds they all work well with eachother. very simple song yet has many nice vibes.

I wouldn't mind remixing this track if your interested in working together sometime.

SanguineRane responds:

thanks for the comment!
i would love to work with you
ive never done anything like this before, but yah
let me know

What a Surprise!

Thank you!
I Just woke up this morning and logged into Newgrounds and I see your remix 3 entries down.

I like your transition from the first verse to the second. And I really like the beat you layed down for the mix. It has so much more pop (life) then the original. Your ideas for a chorus and a steady baseline have given me some ideas also.

Thanks Again, and I will write to you shortly!

dmess responds:

Hey hey, don't forget:
It's your track, not mine.
I only make a remix for you ;)
thx for the 10.

Heavy groove!

I like industrial beats and i also like how you made this for a pub. sweet deal!
makes for good background music to a movie scene!

dmess responds:

Thx man :)

It's cool!

I like all this song has to offer! just was a little repetitive.

what does the long mix have to offer?

KennyT67 responds:

thanks for the review um the long mix just has some more of the rythms and everything develops slower. i'll upload it soon :)

make it clear!

use an equalizer. it will sound much more profesional!

H3R3T3K responds:

I might go back to this old track and fix it ,,
Yea could do with some EQ'ing on some channels for sure..
Kick needs work ,, isnt hittin sub or low bass really..
Thanks for the feedback ppl ,, much appreciated.. =]

cool stuff!

which program did you make the drum and bass riff in?
i like this track. i just wanted to listen to more variation in the tracks you made.

Bignasty420 responds:

Well the samples are performed by myself and my bassist. We used Acid 5.0 to recorded and cut the samples.

you need to make a choice!

your bass and other soundz conflict with each other instead of complimenting each other. if you turn down the bass and clean up some of the soundz this track can be much better. and if it is hip hop just have it as a loop so that you dont say its a song when its not a full track yet. you just let your tracks loop anyways with a slight variation in the drums in the middle.

let me know if you make improvements i would like to listen to this piece again when it is finished.

Savagelyfe responds:

listen to feelin this feelin

nice song!

it was worth it. and i know what having a failed folder for music is like. sometimes you listen to them again and remember why you ever enjoyed making that song in the first place.

I wish you had a louder version. this track is good but i have to turn up my volume on my speakers quite a bit to here it.

SensoryDecay responds:

Thank you very much, Ive had the hardest time with the volume of music. For awhile they were too loud, now they are too soft. Ill fix that for sure, thank you very much!
